The floor had mold on the carpet over cold concrete, and both my husband and I woke up feeling ill from the mold in the room, so we fled the room. I demanded a refund of 550 kr, but was met by an aggressive woman who denied everything. My husband has run a construction firm for 25 years, so he knows what he’s talking about. Please stop this woman from renting out. Monica Mood.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious and cozily decorated, but the curtains need to be replaced with blackout ones because the streetlamp shines in at night and when it gets light the room becomes too bright and hard to sleep in; the towels were very stiff and difficult to dry oneself with.

The beds and bathroom were good, yet the basement smell, lack of TV, and no broadband made the stay unpleasant.

The room was superbly decorated and comfortable, the bathroom was nice, and the host’s welcome was very friendly; it’s only a few minutes’ walk from the port, shops and restaurants.
