“まあまあだった”

It didn’t feel brand‑new, but it was decent for a normal stay and the breakfast was tasty. I booked a room with a view of Mt. Fuji, but because it was cloudy I couldn’t see it, which was disappointing. The surprise was that the bath facilities were combined with the locker area—when I went to the hot spring there was only one locker free, and I had to stand in the washing area while about six people waited for a spot. Also, there were only three hair‑dryers, so I had to hurry to dry my hair.

I stayed two nights and didn’t know the rules, but the staff explained everything pleasantly at check‑in. I’m not sure if it was just the first night, but there was a wrinkle and a bulge under the bedding material that made it uncomfortable.

The location was good, but everything else was just average.
