“Shared spaces”
The location is excellent, and we really liked the overall concept of shared facilities, including the kitchen and showers. The check‑in instructions were clear and easy to follow. However, our stay did not meet our expectations for the price we paid. The shared kitchen was often messy and not properly cleaned; the oven was difficult to use, the dishwasher was not working, and the shower drain was blocked. It also seemed that not all guests respected the house rules—dirty coffee cups were left in the kitchen, and some guests smoked through the open kitchen window, which made the shared space less pleasant. I believe the owners and staff could be more proactive in monitoring the common areas and ensuring a higher standard of cleanliness and that the house rules are followed. With better maintenance and guest management, this could be a fantastic place to stay because the location and the concept are really great.
The facilities matched expectations for the price per night. The location is a short walk from the last tram and right next to the forest at the foot of Ještěd. It would have been helpful to mention the cat moving around the property in the description or during booking; I missed it in the reviews and, given my allergy, it was a rather unpleasant surprise. Fortunately the cat only appears in shared areas and I managed to cope.

The environment is pleasant, close to Ještěd, public transport and the slope in winter. Parking is right in front of the lodge, a cozy common living room with a fireplace, a well-equipped kitchenette and a bathroom that is more than sufficient.
The spot is lovely, quiet, the housekeeper is friendly, the room is well furnished, hot water is always available, but it would be nice to have a sun umbrella on the terrace. Thanks.
