Aby Guest House

It was next to everything and had Netflix. It was also next to a very busy street and could be very noisy at night. The included breakfast had limited options and wasn’t that good.

The hotel sits right next to the main road, giving easy access to three solid restaurants, one of them Warung Paradise owned by the same person who runs the hotel. My room was spot‑clean, the bed was comfy, and the bathroom was roomy and spotless. There’s a kitchen downstairs, and the breakfast that came with my booking was pretty good. On the downside, motorbike traffic on the main road can get pretty loud between 6 am and 11 pm, and the kitchen isn’t kept in great condition, which really dents the overall impression of the stay.

“Ni luz ni agua”

When we arrived, the staff were friendly. I can’t understand the positive reviews for this place. At check‑in, the room was infested with insects and lizards, the walls were dirty, and we had no water or electricity. We had to move to another room.

“Very comfortable”

I had a great time here. The room was super comfy with an awesome balcony view and had everything you could need. It was very quiet at night, so it was peaceful. I ate all my meals at the excellent café next door. The price was a great deal. The spa was just a short walk away. It was my first time in Sideman and I loved it.
