We arrived two days late because of the UK air traffic issues, but when we got there the staff were very helpful in arranging tours and restaurant bookings; a decent supply of free drinking water.

The staff were very friendly and attentive, the room was spacious and luxurious, and we loved the central location – quick to the city and to the sea, with plenty to discover around the hotel. What we really didn’t like was that the pool, which we had booked specifically for, was “Out of Service” the entire stay; every day we asked and were told “maybe tomorrow.” For the price we paid, we expected better, and we also expected a partial refund for the lost amenity, which never happened. We were disappointed that a hotel right in the old town still had a pool that was unusable, and the hotel restaurant was also closed without prior notice.
