Minutes to Woodstock Hiking Ben & Jerry Suite

“The rental was clean and served my needs just fine.”

I liked the room; it was comfortable with a nice bathroom and warm shower, but I had to book the wrong Woodstock and the hotel wouldn’t refund me, forcing me to drive 3 hours back and forth because I couldn’t afford another place, which was a pretty drive; I still would have preferred staying in Woodstock NY as originally planned.

“The stay was a huge disappointment”

I was initially pleased with the hotel's location, as it was conveniently close to Woodstock and had a nice easy drive into town. The parking was also satisfactory. However, my experience took a turn for the worse during the check-in process, as the initial code provided didn't work, and I had to wait for a while to get into my room. Once inside, I was disappointed to find that the main light was broken, and the room was infested with spider webs.

At first glance, this hotel seemed well-organized and clean, with a cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. However, my enthusiasm was short-lived, as I soon discovered that the bed was incredibly hard and uncomfortable. Despite the hotel's best efforts to create a welcoming space, the poor quality of the bed made it difficult for me to get a good night's sleep.

“The property was not easy to find. Had to call company, they were helpful, and told us to include zip code on google ap”

While my stay at this hotel had some redeeming qualities, such as the availability of a microwave and fridge, and a nice coffee area with complimentary coffee and tea, there were several issues that detracted from my experience. The lack of an ice machine on premises was inconvenient, and I was not provided with enough hand towels. The bathroom floor had debris by the baseboard heater, and it took several attempts to get into my suite using the correct code.

“In spite of my criticisms I would definitely stay in the Ben and Jerry room again”

I was initially pleased with the comfort and amenities of my room, which was well-equipped for our one-week stay. However, I was shocked to discover that the hotel's policy was not to service the rooms at all during our stay, which meant no bathroom or room cleaning. We had to request more towels and toilet paper and were instructed to wash the few dishes before leaving. I was also frustrated by the difficulty of contacting management, which seemed unnecessarily cumbersome.
