The staff were friendly and the buffet was satisfactory, but everywhere inside felt cold and the stove in the open-air bath changing room was dusty and not working.

The outdoor onsen was good and there were plenty of food options, but the hotel’s internal corridor layout was very confusing and the hair dryer didn’t work.

The bus stop was right in front of the hotel, so the bus from Tatezawa‑ko Station was easy to catch, and when I asked for dinner and breakfast on a random day they gladly obliged; the bath was very pleasant. The only issue was that the room door was hard to close and required a bit of effort.

It was comfortable enough for a solo stay, but the toilet hadn’t been fully cleaned.
