The spot was great for getting around, but I ran into a bunch of problems: the fridge still had leftover lettuce and a broken ice bag from previous guests, the building was under construction with dust everywhere and an odd smell, and people in neighboring rooms sometimes left their doors open, making me feel uneasy. The place just didn’t feel clean—the kettle was on the floor under the table, and the bed shook as soon as I sat on it.

Nothing was good here; the whole place felt like a construction site, the room had no amenities, the shower was filthy, it was loud, and I was woken by people outside my door at 1:30 am.

There’s nothing to like about this property. When we drove up, scaffolding, a skip in the front garden, beer cans and rubbish were everywhere—exactly the opposite of what the photos and reviews promised. The first‑floor room was clearly being refurbished, with rubbish everywhere, dirty and unsafe. We decided it wasn’t safe and booked another hotel for the weekend. I’m a power‑user with the platform, so I complained, but they were unhelpful even when I pointed out how misleading the listing was. Beware of using a site that lists such rubbish and refuses responsibility.

The location was central, surrounded by plenty of amenities and bus routes, which made traveling fun and easy.
