It felt like a historic inn, and the fact that it wasn’t fully barrier‑free was actually refreshing. The water quality was superb, and the evening and morning baths were gender‑swapped, so I could enjoy both. I set the GPS to the inn, but it was tucked a bit off the road, making the entrance hard to spot; I had to U‑turn after passing it.

Great location by the river, fantastic breakfast, extremely friendly and likable staff, and the onsen is wonderful—especially not too hot during the peak season.

I was thoroughly impressed with my stay, particularly the convenience of having an indoor bath in the hotel. It was a wonderful amenity that made my experience truly enjoyable. Overall, I had a fantastic time and appreciated the thoughtful facilities.

The staff at this hotel were incredibly attentive and meticulous, making sure every detail was taken care of. However, I have to admit that I was a bit disappointed by the high prices of the hotel's dining options, which unfortunately meant I didn't get to try them. Despite that, the excellent service made my stay memorable.
