“Noua ne-a plăcut!”

For our needs, 2 adults and 2 children, it was very good. The apartment also has a loft bed, which the kids were very excited about. It’s nicely furnished, modern, and very close to Peleș. We liked it! However, the check‑in and building entry were a bit complicated. Even though we booked through Booking, we had to stand outside the house for 10 minutes to fill out an online form, where among other things we had to provide each adult’s CNP and a photo of their ID card. Also, the door lock at the entrance required opening and closing. There may be another option, but we didn’t know about it. Every time we wanted to enter the building, we had to search the WhatsApp chats, click the link, and open the door from there.

“Do not stay here.”

Awful. Customer Service was very poor. They are contactless but their IT doesn’t work. They threatened to cancel my stay if I didn’t fill out the online check‑in, but the upload didn’t work. They said I could leave my bags there, but they couldn’t change the access codes in time. The building looks deserted. There is no patio, just some concrete outside the door. It’s not really a hotel – just a locked room off the street. The advertising is false.

Getting to Peleș, the monastery, and the city center is a breeze. A few decent restaurants are nearby, and about 150 m away you’ll find three neighborhood grocery stores. The bus stop is close by. The room and bathroom were fine. Parking is in front of the property for 30 lei per day. The issues that popped up during check‑in were quickly handled by the online manager and via WhatsApp. However, to get the room access code you have to register again with a photo of your ID or passport and a selfie. It wouldn’t be a problem if you did that before arriving, but it would be helpful if the booking and payment stage mentioned this requirement. Besides me, two other guests faced the same check‑in problem. The pillows were not very comfortable.
