“Prima verblijf. Er is nog wel veel werk aan de winkel om het hele complex verder op te knappen.”

Nice view, tidy room, good shared kitchen, fun, small but nice, pool—well cleaned stay. The bathroom was too small with no storage, constant barking from nearby dogs, and no contact with an English‑speaking host for tips, such as bike routes in the adjacent nature area or restaurants.

“Local muito sossegado”

The place was very quiet yet close to everything we needed—restaurant, supermarkets, beaches, etc. The quinta offered a nice outdoor area, parking spots, laundry facilities, and a great kitchen. Thanks to Dona Lucinda Silva for her friendliness and readiness throughout our stay. We hit a small snag when arriving at the quinta (couldn't open the gate), but it was fixed right away.

“pas terrible”

It wasn’t far from our parties, but the beds were far too narrow, the shower room had no spot for toiletries, and the shower head was too high to reach. The room faced the trash bins, the LED lights stayed on all night, and we could hear the neighboring room a lot.

“A beautiful and relaxing hideaway!”

We stayed at this gorgeous historic property and it was even better than the photos; the remodelled rooms and common areas were stunning. We booked what we thought was a studio, but the layout had a small hallway and door that actually made it feel more spacious. The staff were warm and accommodating, and we were allowed to bring our dog, who seemed to enjoy the place too. The nearby restaurant, Wine Corner Jose Maria Fonseca, is also worth a visit. There was nothing we didn't like.
