The staff were helpful and the spacious, tidy room with fitness facilities and a pool was nice, plus we were right in Charleston which was perfect. We did suffer a power outage one evening, which was inconvenient, but when it looked like it would last longer they arranged a neighboring room for us for one night, so that was handled well.

The staff were friendly and the lobby and overall hotel cleanliness were outstanding. However, the breakfast could use improvement; eggs and bacon were the only items offered for an American breakfast.

Parking was free, the staff were pleasant, and while the hotel isn't in the city centre, its location is central for exploring Charleston and the surrounding plantations and beaches. The breakfast offered a few different items each day.
