The apartment’s location and furnishings are great, though everyone should know that the kitchen is shared across all rooms. The setup is solid and the hospitality is friendly, and I had no negative experiences.

Everything at Maxhütte worked out perfectly; the atmosphere was friendly and the owner Anja handled the service without fuss. We six men will definitely return.

A pretty pension with a very nice host, but the dinner was 100 meters lower than expected.

A wonderful, well-equipped place for quiet days in the beautiful Erzgebirge—ideal for hiking, cycling, or just relaxing. The mountain location is fantastic and the hosts are equally kind.
