Stratford Motel & Holiday Park

It was good to have a base. We were mainly there for a funeral, and because of the distance we traveled, we arrived late and left early. The shower was lovely; it was very cold when we came down, so a warm room and a hot shower were awesome. It was clean but old, and could maybe be updated a little.

The staff were very helpful, the units were clean, and the location and grounds were excellent, but I wished there were more storage or hanging space.

The place is handy to the main road, and although you could hear it from a distance, the location is perfect, yet the TV in unit 4 is oddly small.

We arrived a bit late, but the room was nice and cosy, and the heating was turned on for us; the toilets were right next to us, the grounds were well maintained, and the beds were comfy, though a door in the kitchen cabin opened to the next room—my daughter opened it and apologized to the family next to us, and we could hear them talking and the TV playing, not that they were loud, but overall we still enjoyed our stay.

Katie was very accommodating, offered great ideas for things to do around the area, and her friendly, bubbly personality made our stay more enjoyable and pleasant, with no negatives.
