“the lady who was supposed to open the gate for us was very uninviting and rude , she seemed annoyed to do her job”

The property is beautiful and very peaceful, yet it wasn’t as clean as I expected; you can clearly see it hasn’t been properly cleaned.

The Guest House by Atholl sits in a quiet part of the neighbourhood, yet a short drive from all the main attractions of the Sandton precinct; the room was spacious and the bathroom facilities were especially good for a tall person like myself, with plenty of sockets near the bed and throughout the room. The bed itself was rather small, and having to coordinate with someone every time you wanted to enter or leave was annoying, especially when the WhatsApp messages—stated as the preferred method of communication by the establishment—weren’t answered promptly. Depending on your room’s location, you’ll also get a lot of light flooding in at night.
