The location is about a six‑minute drive from Takachiho Gorge, so I could head there early in the morning before the crowds.

The hotel sits right next to the bus station, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful; they even stored my luggage before check‑in and after check‑out. The room was clean and comfortable.

The place does what it says; it's fine for a one‑night stay. The owners give great local tips about restaurants and the area. The common areas might not have air conditioning.
