“Great value for the price!”

Good value for money, yet the aircon never turned on, no remote was found, and the bedding was in bad shape. Hard to complain given the excellent price of 1.83USD per person.

“Enorme potencial desaprovechado”

The bungalow, mattress and linens were new, the common area was pleasant, informal, and well lit, and the staff were attentive. The room was spacious and bright, and the food was good. The negative comments all say the same thing: it has great potential. If the managers fixed the flaws, it would be a great place. I booked 3 nights but could only stay 1. The hostel never answered WhatsApp messages. It’s far from the center; the platform’s listing offered bikes but none were available when we arrived. The lawn hadn’t been cut in weeks, the weeds were tall, and the response was “it was raining a lot.” A tree had fallen in the middle of one of the paths. Construction debris was scattered in the garden. The photo showed a kind of pool, but it was actually a neglected pond with no fish, a breeding ground for mosquitoes. The water dispenser was paid. Spider webs were on the kitchen ceiling. The room had a strong damp smell; the walls had white damp stains that “breath” and condensation formed a stream on the floor. We had to keep the bathroom extractor running all night. The glass doors weren’t sealed properly, so ants crawled into the room and into our food. Wi‑Fi worked poorly on our side but fine in the common area. There was no nightstand, desk, wardrobe, hangers, or kettle. The blanket was child‑size. I found another place in the center for the same price with TV, fridge, hangers, a piece of furniture, a desk, a nightstand, a kettle, free water dispenser, the owner answered WhatsApp immediately, and arranged transport for us to leave.
