I liked the atmosphere and the location, but I didn’t get to stay there.

The building looks good from the outside. The room was fine and clean, but the bathroom was very small and some of the taps were leaking. The air conditioning was pleasantly quiet.

The room was tidy. The area around the hotel is messy.

“Left immediately”

The staff were friendly and easy to deal with. The room was basically a backpacker hostel, with facilities far below acceptable standards. There was no kettle to boil water and no cups or tea/coffee provided. Without an elevator, we had to carry everything down the stairs. We were so disappointed that we immediately left to find other accommodation, then returned and checked out. No refund was offered for the four nights we had already prepaid. Unless you’re on a very tight budget, I wouldn’t recommend staying here, as it really does not live up to the “Grand” name.
