CAUTION: do not book here, they will try to swindle you. If you end up booking anyway, their method is to tell you the room is no longer available, then offer a more expensive room. To get that room they want you to cancel your booking, which is costly because a late cancellation still requires you to pay the full amount, so you’ll be offered to pay the difference in cash. They’ll say you can request a free cancellation which they will honor. You’re not given much choice here, because you can’t cancel at this point, so you have to go along with it. Their claim of honoring the free cancellation is a lie, they won’t do it. Once you’ve checked out and paid, they’ll unilaterally cancel the booking, claiming you didn’t check in, which gives them the right to charge your credit card. If this all happens, contact customer service as early as possible to create a paper trail. Also make sure you document evidence that you did stay here. The best way to avoid this is to not book here in the first place.
