The location was very convenient with shops nearby and the room was comfortable. But families staying in several rooms on our floor kept banging doors all night and disturbed us.

“Quite ok for s short stay.”

The place is well located and offers good value, and the breakfast was solid. However, the bed was far too hard and the bathroom was basically non‑existent.

The hotel sits right next to Ostbahnhof, the breakfast tasted great and the selection was ample, and there’s a parking garage attached at a good rate; dogs are also welcome. The downside is that the shower and sink were in the room itself rather than a separate bathroom.

The breakfast staff were exceptionally friendly and warm, just as every year, and I’m grateful for that. On the flip side, the value for money was awful during the fair; I requested a quiet room well in advance but it wasn’t available on arrival, so I got one with a bunk bed above me—felt like a youth hostel. I was also bitten by pests at night (probably bedbugs). The room was already uncomfortable, and the shower cabin was in the room. For 70 € that might be acceptable, but not for 184 €.
