We loved everything! The hotel was wow. Nothing to complain about.

“Nice place to enjoy Yakushima with a great vue on the sea.”

The view is gorgeous and the staff were very helpful. Having a day trip organized by the hotel was super convenient. The breakfast buffet was amazing, the lunch café was good, and the evening atmosphere was also nice. I did think the building itself felt a little dated. The room’s air conditioning was noisy, as was the small refrigerator. The café’s air conditioning was also fairly loud, which made the environment a bit less relaxing. From the outside, the hotel looked somewhat old, and it was disappointing to see the former swimming pool looking rather neglected. It’s a bit far from everything, so if you don’t rent a car you might need a bus, which runs about once an hour. Otherwise, if you stay a few days it’s okay… Considering these points, I think the room rates could be a little more competitive.

The sea view was nice, the beds comfortable, and the environment clean. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, especially the upgraded menu that required an earlier email request. The staff were helpful and polite. The extra activity arrangements and rental services were also very useful.

“仮に屋久島でなくても泊まりたくなる素敵なホテル”

The room was spacious, simple and stylish, with a view of the sea from the window, and the breakfast was tasty. The hallway and the neighboring rooms were noisy.

We had a sea‑view room in the new part. The view was very beautiful and the room’s equipment was comfortable. Our luggage could enter the room half an hour before us, dinner required a reservation even though many tables were free, and the swimming pool turned out to be a typical Japanese bath, so it was only usable by gender and naked.
