The staff were very pleasant to talk with and very helpful, but the first room we got was on the first floor and the outlet for the TV, microwave and refrigerator had been pulled out of the wall, so it didn’t work. We only found out when we tried to turn on the TV and saw the fridge wasn’t working; opening it revealed a large amount of water had leaked onto the floor because it had apparently been defrosted. We were then moved to a third‑floor room, 318, where the toilet wouldn’t flush normally – the only way was to lift the stopper manually after removing the lid. Maintenance fixed it the next day, yet the handle was still extremely hard to push down to lift the stopper. I have to say this was very disappointing, especially from a brand‑name hotel. These basic items should be checked and working before a room is handed over. Having to deal with these problems in two different rooms was frustrating and certainly not the experience I expected.
