“Fantastisch!”

Everything was perfect – from the warm reception and hospitality of the host to the location, room, bed, style, architecture, breakfast, and even Maastricht itself. The only downside was that the stay lasted only two nights.

The place offers plenty of space and quiet, with both city and nature nearby, a huge living room, and a delicious breakfast. The only issue is that you enter the house through the bathroom area.

A wonderfully calm base for Maastricht, with ample room inside and outside the bedroom to relax and a helpful host. The breakfast is great, but it isn’t included in the B&B price, which wasn’t clear at booking – still, the breakfast itself is excellent.

The building and rooms come from the renovation of an old farmhouse; everything is very typical, cute, and different from the usual. There is a bus stop and free public parking nearby. The bed is comfortable, and a shared fridge is available. The shared room is very nice, as is the garden, although we couldn’t use it because we only stayed overnight. The host is very friendly. Given the issues with the neighbors, parking inside the property isn’t possible, not even temporarily for loading/unloading luggage. If you have many heavy items it can be a bit annoying, although the managers offered to help us with transport. The room curtain isn’t very darkening, so if you’re a light sleeper you’ll wake up at the first light of dawn. In the bathroom we only found a small bottle of shampoo+conditioner and a body cream; no soap or shower gel. Payment can only be made in cash or via instant bank transfer. No debit or credit cards. I would suggest a deeper cleaning of the shower corner, as both the floor and the baseboard had white spots likely from limescale. The baseboard also had some blackish-green gaps that looked like mold and moss to us. Although everything else was clean, the visual state of the shower corner left a bit to be desired.
