“Room with a view”

We spent a single night here while cycling along the Rhine; the hotel faced the river and our room offered a lovely view. Our bikes were safely kept in a covered, locked cage at the back of the property. The buffet dinner was tasty and offered great value, and breakfast was also good.

“Gutes Hotel für einen Kurztrip”

The hotel sits in a great spot and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast provided everything you could need, and the buffet dinner was tasty and plentiful. The building feels a bit dated, yet it’s kept in good condition and remains very clean.

The hotel’s location, view, and relative quiet were appealing; the pool looked nice even though we didn’t use it. The dinner menu was limited, but the daytime menu was fine.

“mooi gelegen hotel met voldoende faciliteiten”

Dinner offered only two options, and I chose just the main course, which wasn’t particularly flavorful; still, I had to pay for the entire three‑course menu. The same issue applies to the negative point.

“Last minute booking”

The hotel sits atop a hill on a plateau formed by former stone quarry work, overlooking a bend in the River Rhine and local towns. I spent four hours at my table watching daylight fade and evening lights glow across the river. Dunkel Bier, a delicious steak, and dessert wrapped up my eventful day. However, finding the hotel was a challenge: my SatNav claimed I had arrived, but 20 minutes later I was parked outside the hotel. Future travelers should turn right at the T‑junction, go under the railway line, then take the left‑hand bend; the road to the hotel is on the right. The SatNav really let me down.
