The apartment was super comfy and spotless, right by the beach, and the parking at the front door comes with a garden. The area is very quiet. The town itself isn’t very wheelchair‑friendly, though there’s a 3km seaside promenade.

Ana was incredibly kind, always ready to help and make everything easy. The bathroom is designed for people with reduced mobility and everything gets wet when you shower.

The place is great, brand new and everything is very good and stylishly furnished. For five people it’s a bit tight, but we knew that ahead of time and chose it anyway. I’d say up to four people is ideal. The owner was very involved, even got us a fifth chair, etc., so we felt very comfortable. Also – which isn’t always possible – we could dry laundry in a garage‑like space on the property. We stayed for a week focused on surfing, which the kids wanted. Walking down to the beach is absolutely possible and was fine for our family (even for the twelve‑year‑old). That way you avoid looking for parking at the beach (which in August high season isn’t always easy). The cove is absolutely dreamy, the walks to the lighthouse are great, and on the other end of the cove you can swim in a rock‑protected spot (note, the water temperature is as fresh as it is in Galicia). You can also park well on the multi‑family building’s grounds. The only thing you have to be aware of: the accommodation is next to the main entrance of a larger apartment building, so people walk past the front door, which opens directly into the living area and is light‑friendly glazed, so a lot of people go by. We felt very comfortable there and had nice chats with the residents. If you don’t want that at all, look for something a bit more secluded.
