Riad Hce Iklil

The open terrace and central location in the old town were nice, but on the first day I had to sleep elsewhere because the room wasn't ready; the breakfast was always the same, the cold coffee and tea were bad, the 5:15 wake‑up call was fine but the chatter at the doors was annoying, there was a sewer smell in the room, the room was next to a narrow alley with noise, the receptionist lied and tried to serve breakfast, and then tried to charge me for something I hadn't paid yet.

“Super”

The staff at this riad were incredibly friendly and welcoming, with Hassan's morning smile setting the tone for the rest of our stay. The cleaning was done every day, and the riad itself was very comfortable. The breakfast was also exceptional, with a great selection of local specialties. If I have any complaints, it's that the wifi was a bit temperamental and the location was a bit tricky to find.

“Super !”

We had a great stay at this riad, with the room and bathroom being spotless. It's a beautiful place to spend a few days, and our host, Hassan, was particularly friendly and accommodating. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The only minor issue we had was that the maps didn't always give us the best directions, but it was easy to figure things out once we looked at the map.

“Extremely disappointed ☹️”

We had a mixed experience at this Riad. The staff were incredibly helpful, but the room was freezing when we arrived and the air heater wasn't working properly for the first two nights. They did provide a portable heater, but it was a hassle to deal with. The owners were rarely around, and we didn't feel like we got the personalized service we were expecting. On top of that, the tours they offered were way overpriced compared to booking directly.
