Abad feels like a hidden jungle oasis in Kumily; the property sits right in town, but stepping inside transports you to a lush, tranquil resort. Our stay was truly magical, with breakfast that started each day wonderfully and a restaurant that served delicious dishes. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool, which is entirely framed by nature. Room service and laundry were prompt, efficient, and very convenient, and the whole team was attentive and welcoming. This hidden gem comes highly recommended.

“Good location good staff”

The location was excellent, with everything nearby—Periyar Tiger Reserve, Kathakali, Kalaripayattu, food spots, etc.—and the staff were very nice. The facilities and room size were good, and the balcony added extra charm. The bed was firm and comfortable. We loved the food, especially the breakfast spread, and the Kerala fish platter was a highlight. We did find that the couples spa package was not shared in the same room; instead, my husband and I were in separate rooms.

“Wir würden es in dieser Gegend wieder buchen.”

We stayed in a bungalow room, and everything was very clean. Upon arrival, a welcome drink was offered. The pool was open from 7am to 7pm, but because we arrived late and left early, we were allowed to swim until 8pm. The attached restaurant prepared good food.
