Breakfast was good. Kudos for working with Booking. It was cold even with the heating on; the windows weren’t well insulated. The old boiler was probably never cleaned and couldn’t heat the tiny semi‑lux room.

I arrived late in the evening to check in, couldn’t exchange money, and couldn’t pay by card. The kind administrator let me settle the bill the next morning, which was a huge relief. The room met all the traveller’s needs: clean sheets, clean white towels. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was incredibly tasty, changing every day. The location was convenient, with shops and eateries nearby. I didn’t hear any neighbours during my stay. The furniture is a bit old, but for the modest price it’s fine. I’d recommend installing a window lock so it can be opened just a crack; the room is small and sleeping with the window closed is uncomfortable, while opening it fully is cold and noisy.
