Petra Masterpiece

The stay at Masterpiece was simply wonderful! It was by far the cleanest place we booked while traveling through Jordan. Everything was immaculate, and we felt completely comfortable from the moment we arrived. We lost our key in Petra and were initially quite confused, but thanks to the owner, who seemed to know everyone in Petra, the key was returned to us the next morning. That helpfulness really impressed us and shows how much heart and humanity are behind this place. We are incredibly grateful for this lovely experience and would recommend Masterpiece to anyone visiting Jordan who wants a clean, pleasant stay with a particularly warm host. We were welcomed by the three brothers with extreme kindness and attention at their delightful B&B. Our room was clean, fragrant, and comfortable. The breakfast area was truly charming, tastefully decorated with a nice view of the Petra hills. On the first evening we dined in the apartment, trying some delicious dishes carefully prepared by one of the owners’ wives. Breakfast varied each day, featuring local and fresh products. The location was excellent for reaching the visitor center of the archaeological site in just a few minutes, as well as the various nearby restaurants. Free parking was available under the house. All the useful information for visiting the city was an added value.

Petra Masterpiece is absolutely amazing. The hosts are a kind, generous and lovely family. The rooms are thoughtfully designed, with great attention to detail for guests’ comfort. The kitchen serving fresh home-cooked local food is a highlight, and so is the location. The property is just a 10–15 minute walk to the main sites, yet a quiet space away from the hustle and bustle. Petra Masterpiece is truly a masterpiece and a rare find. We got lucky. It has the warmth of a cosy, family-run Airbnb with all the comforts of a hotel. Nothing at all. I absolutely loved it and only wish I’d had more time to spend there
