Lakewood Lodge & Restaurant

“Overall it was a very nice place to stay and the food was excellent.”

The Inn was very clean, the staff were great, and breakfast was excellent. We also dined there on Saturday night and the meal was very well prepared. As landlords of B&Bs and commercial buildings, we found that the fire safety in the main building for overnight accommodations needs upgrading; if I stayed again I would choose the addition that was added.

“A decent stay in the middle of nowhere”

The room I stayed in was very spacious, more than I expected. The first thing I noticed when I went to my room was that it was unlocked and the door was slightly ajar. The bar downstairs, or perhaps some tenants, were loud late into the night. With no front desk I didn’t know whom to contact about the noise; it wasn’t too bad.

Breakfast started too late for us, so we missed it.

The place was clean and charming, and we enjoyed a few drinks after dinner at the bar; the vibe was just great.
