“nice family, thanks for having us”

The staff were friendly and the family lovely; they even invited us to lunch during Onam, Kerala’s biggest holiday. The room was comfortable, we booked a boat tour with them and it was nice. The place is near the beach, but the beach itself is just okay, haha. The biggest downside was a water pump that makes the loudest noise I’ve ever heard, making it hard to sleep in the morning.

Le Pravanam Beach homestay is located very close to the Allepey beach, right by the fishing boats, in a very peaceful neighborhood set to the sounds of masses, prayer calls, and music, especially for the ONAM celebration. The Pranav family welcomed us warmly, sharing their smiles and kindness. The breakfasts prepared by the mama were delicious with authentic Kerala dishes. Several services were offered: tuk‑tuk rides by Pranav’s father, Vinesh, who is a very good driver; a private boat tour (Shikkara) on the backwaters; and other good places for lunch and dinner. Pranav also kindly offered to drive us to a place we wanted to visit and to return from Allepey to Kochi airport. We were able to converse in English throughout the trips, which was highly appreciated. We loved staying at this authentic, family‑run homestay with impeccable cleanliness and hope to return next time we’re in Kerala. Thank you 🙏 Nandi 🌸 Pranavam beach homestay.

We enjoyed a great two‑night stay; the location is excellent, close to the beach, and it felt like home. The traditional Kerala breakfast was yummy, and we’ll definitely come back.
