The view was absolutely stunning and the staff were wonderful; when our son fell ill they went out of their way to help us, many thanks to them! They don’t accept credit cards, which we only learned on the day of arrival, and the surrounding area is noisy with roosters, scooters, kids, etc., so we were up around 5:15 am, plus the rooms aren’t fully sealed, letting geckos, ants and mice wander in.

The hostesses were extremely friendly, the scenery was breathtaking and the waterfalls were close by. However, the price‑to‑quality ratio feels higher than an 8; the room was small, though that was clearly stated for a one‑night stay and was fine, but for a longer stay I’d opt for a larger room or cottage.

Stunning location right in the rice fields, wonderful quiet and a wonderfully attentive team. Breakfast is served on your own terrace and has everything you want – fruit, coffee, eggs, bread. You have to get used to being woken early by the roosters in the surroundings; that’s part of the “country life” ;-)

A wooden cottage with an outdoor kitchen was very pleasant. Something different from the typical, often stereotyped accommodation in Bali. A quiet spot, no tourist crowds, and incredibly kind staff. Lahtu and Puspa are the ladies who look after this place and are available to you. In the morning you get flowers with breakfast, and smiles are spread all day. We felt at home and would gladly return to Lafyu! Everything was perfect.
