“Authentic place, comfy and warming people”

I had a fantastic stay—everything was flawless, and Toru was always attentive and incredibly helpful. Whenever I had a question or needed something, he was there immediately. The place was spotless, and both the room and the house had an authentic, charming vibe. I was initially curious about sharing bathrooms, but it turned out to be so easy that I barely noticed. The location was ideal; the nearby metro and buses made getting around Kyoto super convenient. I absolutely loved it and would definitely recommend this place! 🩷

The host was friendly and helpful, and there was a comprehensive booklet with personal recommendations. Every dish we tried was fantastic. Toru was an excellent host who responded quickly to messages and even taught us how to make takoyaki! The overall vibe of Colours was pleasant, the futons were comfortable, and check‑in was easy. The shower and toilet were clean, and for an extra experience there’s a bathhouse opposite the accommodation.

“Great stay! I would recommend!”

I felt right at home in this small place that really captures the local vibe, and the staff were super accommodating and friendly. The location is fantastic for exploring Kyoto – just a lovely 15‑minute walk to the main shopping centre – and the room was very spacious.
