“Fabuloso”

The place was spotless and really well‑organized, and the owner made us feel right at home. The bed was comfy, the heating worked perfectly, and it was just a stone’s throw from both downtown and the bus terminal. She even let us have the whole room to ourselves even though it was meant for sharing, which was a nice touch. Honestly, I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

“Best hostel to stay in El Calafate”

Everything about this stay was spot on – the room, the service, the location. I didn’t run into any issues at all, so there’s really nothing negative to mention. It was a straightforward, pleasant experience from start to finish.

“Ideal”

The owner looks after her guests personally, always ready to help even with things that aren’t technically the hostel’s responsibility. Because there aren’t many people around, she gave each of us our own room despite us only paying for a single bed, and the place was immaculate. Its spot next to the central station makes getting around a breeze, even though it’s not right in the city centre.

The lady who runs the place is genuinely sweet and helpful, and the rooms are spotless with really comfortable beds. There’s a Mexican restaurant just around the corner, and although it’s a short uphill walk from the bus station, it’s a bit removed from the town centre. I stayed one night after returning from El Chaltén before catching a flight to Santiago and had no complaints.

The hotel is run by a single lady who, despite limited English, was incredibly kind and made us feel welcome. She seems to clean the rooms herself every day, so everything was sparkling, and the location is convenient – a short walk up to the bus stop and a tiny supermarket nearby. It’s a good base for energetic backpackers who don’t mind a little uphill walk to reach the lively city centre.
