The place was secluded, yet the staff gave conflicting info about renting a boat.

Everything about the property was flawless—rustic luxury off the beaten path, exactly what we wanted. Cell service was zero, but the wifi covered everything we needed. The website advertised an all‑seasons outdoor pool and hot tub and lakeside kayaking, but the pool and hot tub were actually not all‑seasons and were drained when we arrived. After we asked, they pulled kayaks from storage for our group, which was amazing—no questions asked, they fixed it for us! I’d advise against it if you have trouble navigating the many stairs.
