We loved absolutely everything about our stay at American River Inn – it’s a beautiful property with so much character and charm, and Dawn is a wonderfully sweet and welcoming innkeeper who’s warm and fun to chat with; honestly, what’s not to love about this place? It’s a dream!

“Really excellent all around and would stay again.”

The room was comfortable, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was good, though I knew ahead of time that the Inn is a B & B, so my room didn’t have a microwave or small refrigerator.

“Excellent spot downtown! Walk to restaurants and bars”

A historic hotel with a great porch that made breakfast excellent, and the innkeeper was extremely cordial.
