“Wonderful staff, lovely property, great location and excellent food.”

The staff were wonderful, the property charming, and the location great, plus the dinner options were excellent; everything was clean and comfortable, though it took a while to get hot water and the shower pressure was low.

The grounds are beautiful, but there was no fridge in the room.

The historic old mansion feels like a place with ghosts, and the breakfast staff did a great job even though they were understaffed and the food was tasty; the bed could have been better, and the inn ran out of propane so there were no hot showers or dinner service.

“Great lodging near many activities including in-house music.”

I liked the variety of breakfast items in the classy dining room, and Quechee Gorge and Simon Pearce glass blowing were 5 minutes away; the room we had was quite a distance from the main dining and office area, making it a difficult walk for my 91‑year‑old mother.
