“Pasamos un fin de semana en grupo de amigos maravilloso, con una localización y unas vistas insuperables. El dueño súper”
A beautiful site, cared for in every detail; I honestly have nothing to dislike.
“Maravillosa estancia y maravilloso trato”
Manolo and Merche made everything we needed available, and Merche stayed on hand for any requests. The house had plenty of amenities—washing machine, dryer, iron, coffee maker, etc. Every room was fully equipped with sheets, towels, and heating, whether air conditioning or radiators. The décor was lovely, rustic style, and the common areas had everything needed for 15 people, including chairs, tables, and a stove. From the accommodation you can see Sierra Nevada and the town’s castle, adding to its charm. It’s on a very quiet street. We left extremely satisfied with the lodging and with Manolo and Merche; we would definitely repeat this experience.
“Alojamiento rústico y bonito.”
The place was very rustic with lots of detail, and the living room with the fireplace was a real surprise—great price‑quality. The staff were very friendly. Our room was pretty, rustic, warm and comfortable, and original, but the hot shower tap didn’t work, only the cold one did. We fixed that by using the full bathroom on the ground floor, which had a nice shower with a little radiated heat.
“Decepción”
The accommodation was pretty and well‑located in the village, but when we arrived the phone wasn’t answered, and after several attempts we finally got through; they had left the keys in a small box at the entrance, so no one came to explain anything about the house. The terrace tables and chairs were filthy, covered in bird droppings and mud, so we had to clean them before using; the pool was the same, dirty and we had to figure out how to use the pool cleaner. The photos were misleading—there was only a broken umbrella on the terrace and no other shade, making it unbearably hot. In the kitchen, the dishes and glasses were dirty with food residue, and the refrigerators had food scraps inside. In the upstairs room there was no wall, just a wooden plank, and when it rained at night water seeped into the room, soaking our clothes. The sinks were clogged with hair, which we had to clean so water would flow. Finally, when we asked the owner if we could stay a couple of extra hours on the last day (after confirming there were no other bookings that day), he demanded an extra 300 euros for just two hours. It was a real disappointment; the place has potential but isn’t well maintained.
“Dormir entre polvo”
The air was dusty enough to tickle my throat, there was no hot water and we had to climb up to fiddle with the keys, and you had to watch out for the low wooden beams that were at shoulder height. It was a nightmare, and in two days we never saw anyone at the reception.
