Nothing to like. I am making a formal complaint regarding our recent booking, as the property was not in a condition that made it possible or safe for us to stay. When we arrived, the accommodation was not ready for our arrival. However, even if the room had been prepared with clean bedding, we would still have been unable to stay because of the overall condition of the property. The premises appeared unclean, poorly maintained and, in our view, unfit for guests. There were large amounts of rubbish accumulated around the site, and the general lack of upkeep created an environment that felt neglected and unsafe. We also observed a number of individuals repeatedly coming and going from rooms, which added to our concerns and made us feel uncomfortable about remaining on the property. The overall condition of the accommodation bore little resemblance to what we had reasonably expected. We did not feel safe, nor did we believe the property met an acceptable standard for paying guests. As a result, we had no option but to leave and find alternative accommodation. Given these circumstances, I believe we should not have been expected to stay at the property and request that this complaint is investigated and an appropriate resolution provided

The host was friendly and apologized, but the location right off the highway made it risky for letting dogs off lead. Noise from the road was loud, though I’m not bothered. We told the host we’d arrive at 4 pm; we got there 5 minutes early and were met by a guy staring at us, mumbling with a vape. The owner called, apologized for being late, and said he needed 15 minutes to set up the room. After an hour in the car with two dogs, we were shown to a room that smelled damp and smelled on my clothes afterward; it looked like a shed. The bed was hastily assembled, and the place clearly needed a full renovation. Paying £100 for two nights was far too much; it should be a hostel price or the listing removed. The site was littered with rubbish, an unused exercise bike, building rubble—like a rough council estate. The owner still demanded a £50 cancellation fee, which feels like a scam.

I left before checking in and want a refund. The property was dirty, neglected, and definitely not worth the price. I booked a Holiday Inn for £20 more, and I think charging for this stay is an insult.

The location was pretty convenient for what I needed, but that's about it. The place itself needed a serious clean, and there was rubbish scattered all around the property and outside the doors. The garden area was a mess, and it was hard to find the place because the sign was hidden behind some bushes.
