“De lokatie net na de mooie Dynjandi foss geweldig en de sfeer van het hostel met het mooie uitzicht.”
The location and atmosphere were great, and we would have liked to stay another day; maybe a larger hot pool would be better.

This guesthouse is a real gem; the location is very remote yet dreamy; from the living room you can see seals and, if lucky, whales; the furnishings are beautiful and the hosts are super nice.

The place is magical and unlike any other; you have an entire fjord to walk, spot whales, seals, marine birds and more, with something incredible each season; the house is large, very comfortable, and has a spacious, well-equipped kitchen; for those who wish, you can also bathe outdoors in warm water; the stay was too short.

Great location! In the fjord you could watch humpback whales feeding and sea lions relaxing; Greg and Leslie are very friendly and open people who give helpful information.

I would have preferred not to leave a review at all because our stay felt like a hidden gem and I don’t want it to lose its charm; the house, the dreamy remote location deep in the fjord, the wonderful, warm, interesting hosts—none of our other Iceland stays offered such a high‑quality, lovingly furnished, practical yet almost luxurious accommodation for this price; so much space in the house and the vastness outside, complete silence; a large pool with naturally warm water, evenings with a sunset view, nights under the aurora; a private beach with sea lions at the doorstep, and for a whole day a whale could be seen in the water from close up; we were there for 2 nights and would love to stay many more; anyone who wants to pause briefly during their Iceland tour should book with Greg and Leslie; it was fantastic. Note on the approach: you use the parking entrance of the Dynjandi waterfall, drive through and exit on the other side; the exit camera records it as a “through‑pass” so no fee is charged; then continue on an unpaved gravel path a few kilometres up the slope to the “farm” and the beautiful house.
