“Disappointing”

The view from the hotel was wonderful, yet the room felt very old, had a musky odor, and didn’t look clean—coffee splash stains on the ceiling, vents clogged with dust and dangling bits, and stained tatami mats.

The food was delicious, the service was good, and having a water server is a nice touch. It would be handy to have vending machines on each floor.

The location and local cuisine were great, and there was nothing else to note.

The location was good, the large public bath was nice, the dinner and breakfast had many options, check‑in was smooth, and the late‑night ramen was very tasty. However, the room was too small for five people, the toast‑drink at dinner took too long to arrive, the shop could have stayed open later, I wanted ice cream late at night, and the short message I received after registering at the front desk never came.

I had stayed there with my mother before, but after she passed away this year I used it for a memorial visit, which brought back nostalgic memories. With seven people—three women and four men—the bed usage was confusing.
