“If a tad cheaper, it’s was great”
Location is great. Bed was very comfy and clean. Overall cleanliness was lacking sadly. Bathroom especially. The Turtable is and unique selling point, the vinyls are poorly looked after and need updating. Coffee machine in need of a clean
“Adorable hotel in a great location.”
A charming boutique hotel right in a great spot, with easy street parking and staff who were warm and welcoming.
The location was great, the place was clean and the staff were helpful, but the facilities didn’t live up to the price.
“Boutique 50”
Great location, clean, very friendly staff and comfy bed. So all the main things you hope for were great. Couldn't think why the bathroom door was just plain see through glass. Tad awkward in a small double room. Vinyl player was a nice touch but most of the records had been stolen
“Filthy - perhaps it is time to buy a new hoover, get better cleaning stuff and stay on top of your plumbing, this might”
The staff tried their best, but the room was still filthy and broken; breakfast had a decent selection. Hair from previous guests was on the carpet, and I had to ask for the floor to be vacuumed, which caused an asthma attack as the hoover blew dust everywhere. The bedding and towels were terribly stained, so I had to request clean ones. The sink was broken and dripping, but they sent someone the next day; that person couldn't figure out why no warm water was coming out.
