“Superb quiet location above the hurley-burley of Manitou Springs with great views of Pike's Peak.”

The hotel sits in Woodland Park with nice views of Pike's Peak from the south patios; it’s easy to access from Highway 24, Manitou Springs, the Pike's Peak highway, and Garden of the Gods, so staying up high keeps crowds down below; we didn’t use the pool or hot‑tub, but they looked inviting; the on‑site pub had closed, so we brought our own happy‑hour specials and enjoyed the mountain views from the patio; waffles were offered at breakfast, but some cooked eggs would have been a nice addition; the front desk clerk also handled breakfast service, often running out of coffee but refilling it quickly.

“Worked for well for our location needs.”

We had to be at U/C Health for surgery very early in the morning, so the location was very convenient; however, the hotel’s website advertised a restaurant and bar, which turned out to be closed, so after arriving late we had to find another place to eat, which was disappointing.

“Great location”

The location was great and the staff were welcoming and exceptional; housekeeping did not come at all during my stay, so I had to bring my own towels and supplies and take dirty laundry to the laundry room, and the breakfast could have been a bit more substantial.

The beds felt very comfortable and we liked the outdoor deck, but the breakfast was lacking.
