The room was very clean and quiet. There was no shuttle service, and everything felt bland.

“too expensive for this location and wifi”

The room was decent; I got a queen‑size bed that was great and clean. The front‑desk staff were friendly. The fridge was a bit loud, and the Wi‑Fi was the worst ever—it took forever to open my work files and made my computer sluggish. I only had breakfast once; the eggs were overcooked and not cheap.

“Everything was great on the pool was down”

I was disappointed that I had to leave the hotel and find a different place just to use a pool, even though I paid a bit more for the Hilton experience hoping for better relaxation. It seems cheaper hotels tend to have more activity and keep their pools busy, which I find confusing and frustrating every time I stay somewhere. Aside from that, everything else was great, but the pool being down ruined my relaxation spot.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, but the low‑lying area near the hotel was flooded.

“If you want a pool, parking and a comfortable stay it was ideal. The compromise is how you get to King St.”

The rooftop bar was cool, especially on quiz night when the atmosphere was great; the rooms were big and comfortable, and the staff were friendly both in the bars and around the hotel, though the pool was closed and they let us use the adjoining hotels instead. The location isn’t ideal, which shows in the price; you can walk left or right out of the hotel to reach the old quarter, but heading right onto Broad Street takes 30‑40 minutes to get to King St, and it was hot!
