Courtyard by Marriott Düsseldorf Seestern

We really liked the hotel, especially the breakfast which was excellent! The staff were very friendly, helpful, kind and accommodating. The cleanliness stood out as well. Even though the furnishings weren't up to date, we felt comfortable as long as everything was clean and not broken. The only downside was the outdated room furnishings, which cost me one star.

Marriott never disappoints, as usual. Great value for money and the restaurant staff were very pleasant.

“War super 👍”

The staff were super friendly 👍 The bathtub was a drawback; a regular shower would have been nicer. Otherwise everything was top 👍

“Wir waren für einen Konzertbesuch hier, Auswahl an Hotels extrem begrenzt gewesen.”

Room: Plenty of space for clothes and luggage, and the safe was a plus. Breakfast: abundant, with the option to have a fresh egg or omelette prepared. There was a good selection of sweet and savory items. The room was inconsistently furnished. The bathroom was disastrous – mold on the tiles! The room smelled musty. Only one window could be opened; the rest were locked or unusable for guests. The leather chair was torn. Breakfast: no filtered coffee available, only vending machine coffee. Scrambled eggs were made from a pre‑mixed blend, so they tasted bland and dry.

“Kamers aan renovatie toe.”

The beds were good. The lower floor looked nice. Parking was at the hotel. Breakfast was fine. Dinner was also fine. There was a musty smell in the hallways and the room. Opening the window slightly reduced the odor. The rooms really need replacement, especially the musty carpet.
