Hotel Klippenklang

“Nette Unterkunft, sehr zentral gelegen, freundlicher Service.”

The location is very central and everything is well organized. The beds are very comfortable. We booked without breakfast. Unfortunately the shower drain had a smell, probably weather‑related; when the bathroom door was closed, the room did not have the odor.

“Für eine Nacht ok, aber halt Helgolandpreis”

The hotel sits right on the harbor and is quickly reachable; the city center, shops, and restaurants are just minutes away. The room was newly furnished. It was on the ground floor in an annex right next to the old entrance door that didn’t close well, making the room very small. There was no curtain, so I had to pull up the blinds and sat in half‑darkness if I didn’t want people passing by to look directly at the bed. Some dust on the wardrobe, picture frames, and door frames, and despite having three nights, there was no cleaning. The breakfast at Bistro La Brise was not worth the money; the buffet was greasy, untidy, and the staff were dull and lifeless every day. It was also far too expensive.

“Schönen Kurzurlaub, Lage super, Frühstück nicht zu empfehlen”

The location is good. The only issue was that the reception was in a different building from the rooms.

The hotel’s location is fine. The shower didn’t drain, there were food remnants from the previous tenant, no room cleaning during the stay, and the staff at the central reception Helgoländer Botschaft were unfriendly.
