“Great apartment in a lovely farm in the heart of the amazing black forest 🌲”

The farm’s location is great, about a 20‑40 minute drive by car to many attractions. It’s super cool with plenty of cows, rabbits, donkeys, chickens, goats, and even pigs, so our kids had a blast, especially on the trampoline and the other attractions like wheels, slides, and swings. Verena and her family made us feel at home and were very communicative and available. The apartment is fully equipped. The downside is that the cows live under the apartment, so the smell can be noticeable—this might be a concern if you’re sensitive. Also, perhaps firmer pillows would be better, but that’s a personal preference.

The setting was quiet, but because it’s an operating farm you have to be prepared for the farm air; you can buy the forest from the hotel for pleasant walks, and it was very well furnished. We never found anything wrong.

The kids had a blast with the trampoline, slide, sandbox, goalposts, and Kettcar, plus the animals and a tidy garden with a grill. The complex has several units, not all of which are modernized yet, and the couch is a bit small and uncomfortable, but otherwise everything is spotless and well equipped.

The apartment is lovely with a balcony, and the kids absolutely loved the garden and the rabbits, while the surroundings are also gorgeous. Nothing to complain about.

“Very high value for money. Great for a family with kids.”

This is the perfect spot for a family: a real farm in the middle of nature with breathtaking views, brand‑new fully equipped apartments, and hosts who are warm and courteous. The playground offers plenty of attractions and toys for kids, so I highly recommend it. Nothing else to add.
