We spent a couple of days at Melford Nuwaraeliya and had a wonderful experience. Mr. Bandara is attentive and always ready to help; on the day we visited Horton’s National Park he packed us a delicious breakfast at 5 a.m. as we requested, which was truly exceptional. The breakfast on the other day was just as delightful. Our room was spacious and had a beautiful antique charm, and the lobby offers a stunning view of Gregory Lake. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Nuwaraeliya.

The staff were very kind and welcoming, the breakfast was excellent, and the view of the lake was beautiful. However, the house is very damp, there was mold on the walls, and we recommend a room renovation.

“An Unforgettable Stay at Melford, Nuwara Eliya!”

We spent two nights at Melford in Nuwara Eliya and were thrilled from the start; the host Bandara was one of the friendliest, most helpful people I’ve met, with a warm smile that made us feel at home immediately. The food was a major highlight—flavorful and varied—and with the crisp weather we asked for tea several times, which Bandara always delivered hot and freshly brewed. If you want a cozy, heartwarming escape in Nuwara Eliya, Melford is the place to be.
