Under my balcony was a terrazzo with dog feces that had never been cleaned. The Frigor-Bar was empty—water was not replaced, and the empty bottle was not taken away, nor were the coffee cups we had used removed. The bathroom accessories were very poor, especially considering we had a suite. The breakfast buffet was very sparse.
“Helemaal top!”
The room has air conditioning, is very clean, and the hotel is a 15‑minute walk from Vicenza. A good pizzeria is a 7‑minute walk away. The hotel sits on a nice spot with its own parking space!

The front‑desk staff and housekeepers were very friendly, but the hotel suffers from a lot of noise being surrounded by three busy roads and a railway line, plus a noisy air‑conditioning unit on the roof above the room, a persistent fish smell in the lift, and the pool pictures are misleading—it’s only a tiny children’s pool. I can’t understand how it earned four stars.
