“nothing to write home about”
staff were great. super accommodating and very nice. it seemed a little run down. paint stripped off of the door to our room. marijuana smell. location, while convenient to major freeways also means there’s quite a bit of noise. didn’t help that the street this hotel is on was under construction. just overall vibe is a step up from a scary motor court motel off route 9 outside Reno

“I did not feel good about making my kid stay here.”
The hotel is in a convenient location and there was no problem checking in at 3AM when we arrived. The parking lot was well lit and access was reasonably easy. Desk staff were friendly and competent through our stay. The room smelled musty and dank and that hits you the moment you open the door. The rug was stained and the finishes are damaged and old. There's a fridge that isn't cold and an AC unit that makes a terrible noise when running which means you can't run it while trying to sleep. Despite putting a do not disturb hanger outside your door, housekeeping will pound on the door until you get out of bed and tell them to go away in the morning
